Freud said- "Fear is the opposite of awareness."
So is "Faith/Hope the opposite of ignorance?"
There is also the sayings- "Ignorance is bliss"
But also- "No Man can be saved in ignorance"
So is fear bliss?

So I was thinking about all this randomly and this is what I thought...They say you can compare faith to light. Light can be study and is a very deep concept that scientist are continually studying and that fear is compared to darkness which can only be defined as the absence of light. So if you look at it as such for the quotes you can think of fear as having a lack of--something. Even perhaps a lack of knowledge which in some cases is bliss. For example I don't have the knowledge nor the experience of cancer or drugs so for me this ignorance is bliss because I don't have to deal with all the worry that comes with it. But of course we don't have to deal with or study out the bad things in life and thus we will be lacking in this knowledge but we do have the obligation to study and learn the good things in life to be saved. I'm not sure if that all makes sense because I'm just explaining it fast and probably missing a ton of details but, that's life.
